The Tiffany Creek Elementary building was built in the year 1990, but have you ever thought about the school buildings that came before it? At one time, Dunn County was filled with almost 150 one room schoolhouses. The area and families that eventually would be part of this district could have been from any of the 42 different one room schoolhouses in our northwestern area of Dunn County. There were 28 one room schoolhouses that entirely become part of the Boyceville School District. The remainder of the 42 areas (14) had families attending the Boyceville School District depending on where the families lived in relation to this new larger district. In the 1950’s the one room school houses were consolidated into the Elementary school buildings of Connorsville, Boyceville, and Wheeler. Those 3 larger elementary buildings would eventually become Tiffany Creek Elementary which is part of the Boyceville Community School District.
Below is a list of the 42 one room school houses that represented where the Boyceville District started from. The schools are in BOLD represent the 28 one room schoolhouses that entirely became part of our district and have been honored by a classroom today. Please notice the special tag above the door frames as you visit our building.
