What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide approach to promoting better behavior in school. This process helps establish behavioral supports in order to create a more positive and safe learning environment for all students, therefore maximizing academic achievement. Tiffany Creek Elementary has adopted 4 PBIS Rules:
Be Safe - Be Kind - Be Responsible - Be Respectful
Each of the four rules comes with behavioral expectations in all areas of the school, including the bus. Our school explicitly teaches students the PBIS expectations, so that they have clear ideas of what behavior is expected of them at school. In order to promote positive and appropriate behavior, TCE staff members are providing positive recognition to students for excedding our expectations.
