WELCOME TO BULLDOG COUNTRY!

#BulldogPride

Welcome to Boyceville High & Middle School, proud home of the Bulldogs. We are a 6-12 institution with an enrollment of approximately 360 students.

At BHS/BMS, our goal is to provide enriching opportunities and meaningful experiences for all students. As a staff we continue to work hard in our efforts to develop an academically rigorous and socially engaging environment which encourages personal growth while challenging our students to reach for new heights. We strive to achieve these goals through the development of strong relationships between all members of our school community - from students to teachers, to parents and the Boyceville-area community at large.

Please use this site to visit our programs and activities and see for yourself what makes our small school community hugely successful. Should you wish to learn more about Boyceville High & Middle School, please feel free to contact me, Patrick Gretzlock, directly at (715)643-3647 x.438 or patg@boyceville.k12.wi.us

MIDWEST ARTIST ACADEMY

Uploaded Image

APPLICATION WINDOW IS NOW OPEN!

Each summer the Midwest Artist Academy offers young artists the chance to explore dance, theatre, visual art, creative writing, and music on the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire campus. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to create, collaborate, and explore their work with a talented faculty and supportive peers.

So... how do you know if this would be the right experience for you?

It’s for anyone who’s ever fallen in love with a song, a story, a painting, a dance, or a play. Specifically, It’s for 14-18-year-old artists who are passionate about experiencing art in all its forms—including creating it! You needn’t be “the best” artist to apply; simply someone excited to learn more! This Academy is based on the idea that art is at its best when it’s shared. As such, we’ll be working together to collectively hone our crafts.

The following website provides more information about the Academy, including how to apply - Midwest Artist Academy

If you have any questions, or would simply like additional information, simply use this email address - info@midwestarttistacademy.org

POST-SECONDARY PLANNING RESOURCES

XELLO ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP ENHANCEMENTS

Students now have more ways to find scholarships within the extended Xello database, including national, state and institutional opportunities. This enhancement within Xello allows students who wish to pursue a postsecondary education more ways to pay AND plan for their chosen pathway.

As high school students build their scholarship profile, they will automatically be matched with personalized scholarship recommendations tailored for them. Here is what the enhancements offer:

  • A powerful feature that matches students with millions of dollars in suitable scholarships.
  • Having "school-added opportunities" easily accessible.
  • Monitoring and tracking thousands of scholarships, plus the promise that no promising opportunities are overlooked.

For more information as to how Xello can help you and your child take advantage of the scholarship opportunities that are available, please review the Scholarship Guide for Students.

Who Am I? Entry Form

The Who Am I? Contest, is an opportunity for us to strengthen our relationships between staff and students as we challenge our students to learn more about the adults that work with them every day.

This challenge provides hints throughout the week about a designated staff member; clues are displayed on our announcement boards found in our commons, senior/junior hallway and our middle school,  and are also shared during the morning announcements. Students are allowed to submit one entry per week.

All successful students will have their name placed in a drawing for a free lunch from a local establishment (of their choice). Winners will be announced each week and recognized with a photo opportunity with the designated staff member with the photos becoming part of slide show posted here - to our HS/MS website AND to the BCSD Facebook page.

STUDENTS:
Submit your entry by clicking on this link - Who Am I? Entry Form.
